HELP - How do I make a graphic appear in my sig?

Would some kind soul please take the time to explain to me to do the above.

I have updated my profile with a sig and the link for this small graphic.

I have checked the box below to include the profile sig.

All to no avail it seems.

Tony, you have to have a website for picture storage. Open an account at www.shutterfly.com Its free and easy. Upload your pictures. Once you have them up there you can insert them into your profile. When you are ready, under signature image you need to click on yello icon above that says “insert image”

“[i mg] [/img]” it will make something that looks like this. there is no space in the first part, but that is how I can show words to you.

  • where the star is above it between the brackets is where you insert picture.

What you do is go to shutterfly.
Go to your picture you want to insert.
Click on thumbnail (small picture) to make it big if you want big picture.
Right click on picture bringing up menu.
Click on properties. There will be a big long name under url.
Left click and highlight whole big thing.
Insert between brackets.
If done right, you will have sig pic. Also you can add to picture for profile if you want.

Good luck Tony

Tim

Thanks Tim.

I have it figured now.

I was using the wrong type of brackets around (img) & (/img).
Now I see they are square. and .

Thanks a bunch.

I like the pic. took awhile but I got it. [:D] [:D]

I think we need ['strine] and [/'strine] tags that turn the text upside down[(-D]

…and [eh] and [/eh] tags for the Kiwis!

Tony like the signiture! Any relation to the “Thunder from down under”?

I thought it was the Canuks that ended ever sentance with “eh?”

hehe

Anybody see that special on PBS where Robin McNeal, who grew up in Eastern Canada, traveled all over the USA asking people, “Do you speak American?” He found some interesting people to ask and it was a fun program.

Torby, You crack me up[(-D], you’ve been in the Asylum to LONG!

I think Tony has more time on his hands. He must be playing trains more.

Spare Time?

What is that?

Have you any idea how much time I have spent doing that Mack Switcher install.[;)]
Well, the article anyway.
The install was a snip.
Writing about it, photographing it and then setting it up here has taken about 5 times as long for this computer dummy.[:D]

BTW that upside down logo was made in the days of the 1st LSOL incarnation when the chatters were forced to comply with a max logo size.
Nothing wrong with a max size but the site owner had a hissy fit because I wanted my logo different from the same size and look alike mundane box cars that he was insisting everyone had.

Hissy fit??? That kinda dates you. My grampa used to say that.

Dates him? My x used to have them[:-,]
