Help!! lost my prototype picture archive web page.....

Okay, so I had found this amazing website where you could browse, by road name, the different engines that they ran and view pictures of each engine. It was basically a picture index of every engine from everybody, listed by road number under engine type.

For instance, you could do a search for RS-1’s, and it would come up with all the roads that had them. Or you could click on the Southern Pacific link and come to the listing of every type of diesel engine they had, with every road number they had for each type of engine.

It is NOT railfan.net gahhhhhhh i need this site for prototype referencing because i just bought a bunch of snow plows and mars/pyle headlight sets that i want to upgrade my engines with

thank yoU!!!

An extraordinarily thorough website of railroad pictures, mostly arranged by railroad and then into subcategories, is Don Ross’s site – well worth several visits.

If diesels is what you model, here’s a handy link for you:

http://www.thedieselshop.us

It lists roadnames, road numbers, date manufactured, when it was retire/sold, etc.

I’ll cast a vote for dieselshop for roster information. Railpictures.net has some excellent color pictures and a powerful search engine as well.

hope this helps.
