[xx(] My trees need help. I am working with the Woodland scenics products and foliage stuff. Problem is I am using the HobbyTac and /or Elmers Glue and am really aggravated to find a winter scene the next day. I do not model winter, I want spring and summer, full foliage. HELP BEFORE I PULL ALL MY HAIR OUT.

Not sure if this will work for your purposes, but on my my trees (evergreen pines) I used Rubber cement like you find in the school supplies section in most stores. It seems to really do a good job keeping the lichen on the trees. I live in Colorado where the average humidity is usually quite low and that could effect the effectiveness of this.
Forget the Hob-e-tac stuff. What a pain to work with. I went to Home Depot, bought some spray tacky glue (I believe it was from 3M, you’ll find it). Wear disposable gloves, spray your armatures with this glue, then sprinkle, stick on clumps of the foliage. Dries better, doesn’t run, easier to work with, and best of all. the foliage really sticks to it. I am at work right now. Will check the brand name this evening, and post more tomorrow. Good Luck.

3M Spray Mount
Or regular green spray paint, then dust with ground foam when still wet.
