I need some helpful advice from anyone who has knowledge of the problem. I am pondering purchasing an N scale locomotive from my LHS. It is a used Santa Fe 8-40BW loco that the previous owner had, and he glued the sunvisors on the model. Well, I looked at the model in the store, and seen that the previous owner had slathered glue on the sunvisors and cab, and now the sunvisors are broken off/fell out. My question is, can I remove the glue (it’s clear- no haze, or anything), from the sunvisors and cab without damage to the model? I would only buy the model if this can be accomplished with no damage to the paint//model. if not, I guess I’ll have to keep scouring the Net for that model:(
Thanks in advance,
Roger
