Hi,
I’m considering buying the REA Transfer Building, but I need to know if both sides of the building have the covered loading dock as shown in the picture in the Walthers catalog. The loading dock I can see appears to extend from one end of the building to the other. Is the other loading dock just as long (assuming there is one)?
Thanks for your time,

That helps a whole lot. Just what I needed to know (see).
Thanks much, Hobo

Anytime. Sorry if the photos are a little blurry. Gotta work on that.
Before I began construction, I painted all the walls with a thin grey wash, which settles into the fine lines between the bricks, for your mortar. I also added lights under each side roof. Just plain bulbs, with a piece of aluminum foil glued to the under side of the roof, to spread the light. I also added a Walthers over the door light, above the walkin door in front. It’s a nice kit. You’ll like it.
No problem with the blurry photo, I saw what I needed to see.
I plan to use the front and back walls with the loading docks as a building flat against the room’s wall. And I wanted a looooooong loading dock.
I will say those are some strange looking doors. I’ve never seen doors like those before.
And I agree with your method for the mortar - spray the brick color first, then flood the wall with thinned gray paint and let it settle. That seems to be the easiest way I’ve heard of.
Again, I appreciate you taking the time to do this,
