Help on detailing a CP GP38-2

I had just finished weathering my Atlas Trainman GP38-2 when I realised that I needed quiet a few details in order to make the locomotive “prototypical”. Details are a big thing with me, so having a list of details and manufactures is what i need. Please list the manufacture, detail name (and possible part # too since my local hobby shop does personal orders), and prototypical instalation as well as how to attach the part to the model. My road # is 3036 and photos of it are here:

Thanks!

According to the Walthers catalogue, Cal-Scale offers a Detail kit for Atlas Tainman GP38-2 for $14.00. Part number #190-528. I’m not sure what is included but I will be ordering 2 of these kits next week as I received 2 of the Trainman GPs in CN scheme for Christmas.

This is a very nice kit, and includes everything that I would basicaly need, but what about the bell, horn, ditchlights, and plow? Since you have some of the Trainmans you would know its difficult to add real lighted ditchlights, and the real CPs had the headlights mounted in the nose. Any ideas on this? O and one more thing: Ive had lots of athearn kits and models without grab irons so even though I’ve installed quiet a bit of them I still have one problem - I cant keep them straight! Most of the time they line up with the help of dimples but there always is a few that tilt off. Ive heard of templates that would help alot but any homemade ideas untill I order some grab iron templates??
