Hello the name is Dave i am new to the electric train hobby.
in a few spots my track isa hair short.(1/8) And some times my engine will derail. how can i fill this gap?
can you please help my 4 year old is telling me its all my fault the the people are getiing hurt when the train crashes lol

Ahh, yes, good ol’ flex track that pulls apart as you try to bend it around a curve – nearly all of us have been there and done that at one time or another. A 1/8 inch gap is pretty much to fill, though. Automotive body putty or a product called Squadron Green Putty could probably fill a gap that large. After it dries, it can be carefully filed smooth so it’s not too obtrusive. If you don’t have any of these products laying around, you could also try some Durham’s Water Putty, which should be available at any home supply or hardware store.
