This shows my lack of knowledge when it comes to railcar parts. Can anyone identify the parts of this covered hopper that I have circled in blue? A quick response is appreciated, as I need this info quick, and all my searches have bombed.

They are the attachment points for a car puller. Basicly it is a hook that is attached to a endless cable that is run for a distance along the track. One end is attached to a winch and the other end is attached to a pulley. The hook is attached to the eye in the car frame and a string of cars can be moved over the unloading point without a locomotive. Hope that you can understand my explanation! Jim [:)]
