Who can help with this request?
In the late seventies-early eighties there was an independent decal manfacturer located in the San Francisco Bay area who specialized in correct Southern Pacific Aluminum Bronze and Silver Leaf lettering for steam. For the life of me I can’t remember who this was. I, once upon a time had some HO examples, now I need the same for S scale use.
Any tips, leads, or ideas appreciated.

Dave;
I make my own decals by printing them onto onion skin paper, cutting them out and applying with a VERY THIN layer of white glue. I’ve been doing it for years and it works. Look at the decal in the picture below. it was done, using the method I just described.
I do have the actual color specifications SP used. Unlike later years, Bronze and Silver were gradually phased out as a cost saving measure, although shops were encouraged to use the existing supply until depleated, the 4400 class were among the last to be delivered in Aluminum Bronze. The fifteen inch satin white (and most common among decal manfactures) lettering introduced in 1946 was the system replacement and completely incorrect for SP lettering guidelines used in the twenties and thirties. Appreciate the advice on making decals, that’s the most likely outcome to fufill my quest for prototype correctness.
BTW, your decals look great, you obviously have the technique down solid.
