I’m wondering who might manufacture a mars light in its own housing? I’m hoping to add them onto my RDCs, as CP had them on the doors:

Miniatures by Eric has a Pyle headlight, does anyone know if that could be a stand-in?

Lastly…as someone relatively new to DCC, what decoder would have the appropriate functions to control both mars lights (front and back) as well as the headlights seperately?

I thought we were working on the same thing, until I dug deeper.
Here is a Pic of my ex-B.C.R. RDC used in the X-Files, I have done & still need to do, serious modifications to make it authentic to the show.
I thought you were talking about the top lights, which I had to modify heavily for this unit.
However, you may want to search for a “BARREL Light” most may be a little large for you, but some may be an accidental jewel!!! I used a couple ‘Barrel Lights’ on steamers & they look just like what you are after!.
