Help with traction

I’m looking for info, to help build a warehouse district. Lots of street running. Overhead wire, tight curves, turnouts, etc. Need to know of any magazines devoted to this subject. I’ve modeled in HO for years. But want to try something new. Thanks

This is the web page http://www.pacificelectric.us/traction/index.htm of the traction sig. Also check out this site http://www.trolleyville.com/trolleyville.shtml MR did one of their project railroads on a streetcar line - search their index above - that should help you get started.
Enjoy

trolleyville.com will get you started–check out the East Penn Traction Club (www.eastpenn.org) for more good links and information.

I think there are a couple of traction magazines but I’m not particularly familiar with them–look for old issues of TRACTION & MODELS on eBay or used at your local hobby shop.

Overhead wire and single-point turnouts are two of the things that make traction so distinctive.

Did you have a specific prototype in mind?
