help

hello my name is jonathan and i have been handed a big responsibility the rock club here in Port Townsand WA is holding their anual fair. they have a two track display running on two levels thru a scene. they have several locomotives some running to effectivly. what I need to know is what is the best and fastest way to clean and lubercate the locomotives as the show starts next week. thease engines have been run by people who have know knowledge of cleanlyness or overheating. i imagine that most are down due to dirt and lube …any suggestions? Thankyou

Jonathon,
Don’t be overly concerned. Do the engines run now? Clean track is probably more improtant to the success of the show than lubed engines. But if you must, get a tube of Kadee plastic gear grease for the gear boxes you can see, and some Kadee fine oil in a needle nosed applicator. Put A LITTLE grease on the gears and A LITTLE oil on the wheels where they meet the side frames. Clean the pickups and GO! Abbie
