Here we go again

National Public Radio is reporting that there has been a collision of two trains in Switzerland. I think they said it happened 40 miles away from that nation’s capital. This comes just days after the train wreck in Spain. What has happened? Has everyone forgotten how to run their respective railroads?

Where is passenger incident #3? They always happen in threes.

Mudchicken.

We had the incident in France awhile back, then we had the wreck in Spain and now this.

Start here with a link and a couple of photos of the Locomotives;

“Swiss police say 35 injured in train collision”

Story from the Associated Press (AP)

FTA:"…BERLIN (AP) — At least 35 people were injured, five of them seriously, in a head-on collision of two trains in western Switzerland late Monday, police said. One person had yet to be recovered from the wreckage…"

Their was a BUS wreck also I think it was Italy.

Bus wreck in Indianapolis that killed 3. Bus wreck in Italy that killed 36. Both busses were hauling religious groups.

The locomotive engineer is reported to be missing and they are looking for him in the wreckage. Comment/question what difference would anti climbers and strong collision posts have made? Rgds IGN

No passenger fatalities in Swtizerland. I think they do have collision posts.
