No, I never did. When I built the first bascule bridge it operated fairly smoothly, but I struggled with how to mount the track on the bridge itself. I finally abandoned the idea of keeping it as an operating bridge and simply mounted it in a fixed position. I never did succeed with making the second bascule bridge operational because of some warped plastic parts. So, today, the dual bascule bridges remain fixed in the down position on my layout.
