Here's your BIG chance

Is anyone going to bid on this? Or do I have to do it myself? [swg]

Coca Cola Train

I’m keepin’ an eye on this one…

Tom

Have at it Tom, it’s too rich for my blood right now ! [:D]

There truly is no need for this train!

.

I don’t know about uze guyz but I like what he’s done with the scenery… Kinda compliments the trains’s colour scheme.

Allow me to translate the ad:

THIS IS SUPER COCA-COLA TRAIN SET

(I’m the only one who bought one…)

THE WHOLE SET IN PERFECT SHAPE WITH DISPLAYS STAND, RUNS GREAT , RAN VERY LITTLE METAL ENGINE TENDER,

(I realized how silly this looks…)

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A SET WITH SUCH DETAIL SAYS COCA-COLA

(I’m blind …or… This is the only set I’ve ever seen, i.e., a sample set of one.)

RIGHT 1999

(Coca Cola lawyers already contacted me about posting photos of their product logo online…)

HO PRECISION J3 PLEASE IF ANY OTHER QUESTION LET ME KNOW.

(Somehow Franklin Mint sounded to me like a big name in model trains!)

IM SELLING MY COLLETION

(Wife gave me an ultimatum)…

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS

I COMBINE SHIPPING AFTER FIRST ITEM CUT THE OTHER ITEMS SHIPPING IN HALF

(That way I make only a slightly smaller profit on shipping)…

Aaaaaaaaaaaa, my eyes!!! I can’t see!!!

That was VERY scarry!

I love nostalgia stuff and I love drinking coca-cola, but its a little to pricey for me.

I have a small collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia but this doesn’t appeal to me at all. It comes to you in Coca-Cola red but then turns into a white elephant on your shelf.

Since this was marketed by Franklin Mint, I doubt that it is as rare as the seller would like to make you believe. But if you have the money and space to display something like this… to each his own.

I actually think it is a sharp looking set. But the price is probably a rip-off.

We have a K-Line Coca-Cola set. It’s a pretty good lookin’ set as well.

But (A) I’m N scale, and (B) I don’t have that kind of money.

But good luck to whoever bids.

Also reads - MUST SELL MY COLLECTION - I CAN’T FIND MY CAT

Watch the “E-Bay Speak” here, Lot includes locomotive, Tender and Cars seperate, thus the “low cost” combined shipping discount!! The descriptions on these sites often needs a Philadelphia Maritime Lawyer to explain that what you assumed is not what the “Description” said.

Have fun with this “Rare” opportunity!

Tom, Saving my bidding for a Caterpillar train. If I miss on that I’ll bid on a John Deere train. Failing that, I’m going to hold out for someone offering up a Trump Tower train!(with the popularity of the “Apprentice” this may quickly exceed my bid budget). Jon

I did not realize that Coke used Hudsons for their trains.

Anyway, the color would clash with my John Deere Big Boys, but we can always hold out hope 7 Up will do a complete train so the colors match.

This set is right up there with the Dale Earnhart express and maybe the Elvis special.

I agree. I wouldn’t be interested in this item except that it is apparently very nicely done!

I’m sure it will make someone very happy. Sort of like some women…[:-^]

This is actually the 3rd time he has had it listed. The 1st time it was a BIN for $2000.00. The 2nd time it was a BIN for $1000.00. Guess he finally got it right.

That bad boy’s an eye popper ! Put a light shining on it and you don’t need lights on your Xmas tree . Man throw down a small track circle and a dead tree limb in the middle and outclass all your friends ! LOL

I always wondered what the heck went wrong with the Franklin Mint Hudsons. With the beautiful scale cars, planes and ships they do, you’d think their trains would be phenominal…

That is just so wrong on every imaginable level!

Unless it comes with a boiler full of soda. [:D]

Or maybe a Coke unit? (Ooooohhh, sorry, even I have to apologize for that.) [tdn]

Think I’ll wait for the Jolt Cola Allegheny.
