Wow, very impressive. Anyone know where you get the ‘come-a-longs’ for the chain? I’m In the process of getting some brass chain, but now I HAVE to have them come-a-longs…
$588.34 for two cars with loads. They may be really nice but not almost $600.00 nice. And what’s the satisfaction of having someone elses talents shown on your layout? I suppose it shows you have money not talent!
If you read it from the beginning he also gives a shot to “GRIFF”. IMO I think the stuff you do also ranks up there with the big boys. Did you also notice the words WTF in there.
Those look like Intermountain chains and binders. I have them on one of my flats. I will scratch build my next set with real chain and brass tubing. $588? Wow, that’s pricy!
I don’t read through all the smug non-sence that micheal post in his auctions. Theres no point really. “I’m so great, everyone else sucks, [some other weather’s name worked cleverly into an insult], no body is as good as me, I rule!” That the same BS he always does. No need to watch his auctions.
P.S. 0atman, Kieth Bunch, Lash, and loco260 are all cool in ma book.
What I meant was I have seen some of your weathering and also follow your Ebay items. You have a great talent when it comes to weathering. I think your weathering is really realistic. Keep up the good work. What I would like to see is some shots of the weathering you have done on steam engines. I want to weather my 4-12-2 but need some good ideas.
Besides my question being posted to BRAKIE, you do have a point. Aggro, you’re right, John Pitts is good, but John doesn’t do modern freight cars, although I’m sure he would do as good a job as he does on everything else. John also doesn’t sell his stuff on eBay either. You should know that Mike also does structures and he’s gotten some damn good prices on those too.
And was it really a slam if he was just pointing out the obvious?
