Allan.
COOL!
Yeah, I think the MP15’s look better in that paint than the road locos do!
Mike
while driving by the MRL yard in Laurel, there was a slug in the new BNSF scheme…on I-90 counldn’t grab shot
i have to admit, that new logo is growing on me, it is pretty cool
thanks for the photo, don"t see many mp15’s in san diego area,
Wow, that is one great looking paint scheme. I just love it.
Wow that looks good!
I’m not a big switcher fan, but that’s gorgeous. Did you notice the horn? It’s a “honker!”
I would love to see that loco in the San Diego area lol
Given enough time, they will paint just about anything, and everything.
When the switchers start getting repainted, you know that the new logo, paint job, etc. is going to be around for a while.
What’s wrong with the power we have? I happen to like it.[8D]
I guess one of the reasons why I like the new scheme so much is that the old one always reminded me of “BNSF” : the railroad that used to be BN and Santa Fe. Now, they have been around awhile, have devolped into a good company and have there own personality, so the new logo fits that. Besides, how could you not love the Black and Orange?[:D]
Just wait till you guys see the new GG20B freaks-

1210 is former ATSF GP7u 1373 with a mini-cab to house the remote control equipment.
The MP 15 does look really good in the new paint, but I gots to agree with Chad, I still like the heritage paint schemes.
mike
Why did they forget the yellow outline on the “BNSF” lettering. They did that with BNSF 1210(GG20B) too.
Is that BNSF2954 a GP35?
Allan.
Looks much more like a late GP39-2 or a GP50 to me.
Those pictures make me wish computers were equipped with airsick bags, like airliners. That thing gives fugly a bad name[xx(][B)][8]!
