I seem to remember you saying something about MMA having an F3 on property that was possibly going to be fixed up.

We have been busy with other things this last summer, we have picked up a couple of little parts we need for it though. Next summer might be the big push, my plan is to go ahead and put it into freight service. A few people told me they have seen the BAR engines moving around the country, we had about 40 locomotives to move out of Maine. It’s been a busy summer !!!

Hmmm… I saw some of BAR’s F3s in storage @ northern Maine Junction back in 1981,but didn’t see any in action, except for one that had been fired up for a freight departing that night. Good luck with the project Randy, I’d like to see one of the BAR’s F3s in its own colors,The Anthracite Railroads Historical Society has a pair of former BAR F3s but they are resplendent in CNJ Tangerene! [8D]SWEET!![:D]
