Many years ago I remember a train/race combo in Ho there might have been two one was a jump track where you jump a train the other may have been a crossing but that was many years ago. If you are into slot cars hobby surplus has a nice selection of sets in Ho and in 1/32 scale(the big ones)
K-Line by Lionel offers a system to run trucks and buses and other items on a road bed persay (not race cars ) and there are pieces to that cross traion track and even join up to train track so you can go from the road to the trrack like a MOW vehicle can
this link will take you to the catalog www.kline.lionel.com/
[#welcome] gerry2008,
The best selection can be had in H.O. for what you want to do. Tyco used to make H.O race car and train crossings, not sure if Tyco still makes them.
I like the larger size trains like O gauge. Even H.O. trains take a lot of room for the curve sections!! I thought that sure H.O. must be smaller than O gauge but only in size of trains, my story is that I tried to put an H.O. train set on a folding table(a.k.a. card table) and it stuck out a few inches so then I grabbed some 027 track and got it to fit inside the diameter of the folding table, boy was I surprized to learn that 15 inch H.O. curves(maybe a half inch less) are just as big as O gauge 031 curves.
If it is for size of rooms H.O. does not help much in my opion!
