welcome to the forum… glad to have you aboard… by the way how old are you?.. seeing as you said you are a kid… we have several teen agers in here all the way up to guys that are just young at heart.

I’m currently working/consulting with a ten year old and he will be over here again Saturday for more ideas. He’s really excited and Dad has a problem holding back his throttle.

We can save you time, expense, frustration, and mistakes that we have all made.
Us older guys just has to recognize youth and be a little more patient when responding

[#welcome] welcome WEEZ.!..you might want to talk your folks into coming here to the forum to see all there is to see in the model railroading hobby…you might get them interested in the hobby, so that “dream” layout you are considering might become a reality (especially if your Dad finds it interesting)…Chuck…by the way…there are a lot of guys here named Chuck…you’ll figure out who they are eventually

I started in model RR when I was about 10 (now 66) but , the U.S. Army called, then a family of 6 and so on…the bottom line to you as a 10 year old, follow your dreams in this hobby and don’t let go, it is a wonderful hobby, and with really terriific people here online to help you with any question.

Another person close to my age, I’m 13. Where do you live?

Are you having any problms that seem to only happen to you like how can i pay for a new loco?
