April 5, 2008 6th Annual North Carolina Railroad Expo Hickory Metro Center Hickory, NC Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm Admission: $3/adult and $1/child The Hickory Metro Center is located at Interstate 40 Exit 125. This show will feature 200 tables of models, railroadiana, books, clinics, videos and five operating layouts

One of my Marine Corps brothers is about to move up to Hickory from Savanna in the coming months. Maybe I can talk him into taking a drive up there for some house scouting/train viewing.
