HO Atlas U30B new release - May 2011???

Hi,

Does anyone know when the HO Atlas U30B locos that were anounced back in November 2010 will be shipping? The estimate was (and still is) May 2011 but they don’t seem to have arrived in the UK yet.

I am getting the feeling, reading around several forums in the hobby, that all importers are experiencing substantial delays in goods shipped from China. Some of it has to do with getting skilled workers, too many orders for the factories, and Quality Assurance has plagued the industry for about four years now.

Oh, and the Chinese worker demands more coin these days. In some cases, the importers are having to wait until they scrape together enough cash to get the nod from the factory…at which they go into the gueue…a long queue.
