Ok, So I have used Atlas flex, and i didnt really care for it too much.
my LHS had some code 100 flex that was already weatherd…I liked it, but i didnt purchase any because i then thought that it would look odd having this nice track and then the turnouts unweathered. anyone know of the track i am talking about? I know its not much to go on, but that LHS is now closed and i never got any of it.
Second thing about flex track…I did get one piece of flex from my LHS before he closed…it wasnt weathered, but it was Shinoa i think…i just used it the other day…i bent it to place and let go…it stayed in the shape i made…is that the case with all non Atlas flex track? if all other flex will do that, then i will be very interested in using it over the sectional that i have placed out now.
lucky for me, i am still in the laying the track just for “is it possible” stagey
I was set against using flex as I am using foam roadbed on foam base and the last attempt i did was poor as the flex track kept pulling the pins. but with this shinnoa flex, heck i flexed it and used no pins to hold it in place. now this is what i call nice.
anybody know of the weathered flex i mention, and anyone know where i can get more of the shinoa flex that holds is form when flexed?
thanks
Kevin
