I’m looking for suggestions for dwarf signals to purchase. I’m going to use them for turnout indicators in my 10 track yard. They will be wired to Berrett Hill Touch Toggle LED drivers plugged into the Snap Action bases to control Peco switch motors. The signals would be required to be red and green individual led’s or a bi-color led. Regardless, the LED Driver has three inputs (common-red-green).
I was looking at Bear Creek single light with a bi-polar lEd but I think that has just two legs? Don’t really know. Anyone have any experience that you might share? Thanks all.
Had a minute and went on ebayto look for dwarf signals … there was a seller that had relatively complete 3 mm two and three aspect dwarf signals … they were complete with a wider base and rain shields on the LEDs, they also came with currwnt limiting resistors … and were about a dollar each [complete]
Thnx Mel, that looks a great posibility. I can get an Omni-directional view of the led (view of turnout indication from points end view as well as frog end view) and not too expensive.
Yes, I think so anyway. After being installed you won’t be 12" from it anyway. I most like how the view when I run trains will be Omni-directional, not just one direction of view
