I am starting a small 2’ x 12’ switching layout and want to have both HO and HOn3 operation. Where can I get information and pricing on HOn3 and dual gage track?
Come to think of it, MR published an article on this subject years ago.
The article included information on the special track work needed when a turn table was involved.
Have fun
Use the Walthers site http://www.walthers.com/. Using the advance search you can search on HOn3 for track, trains, etc. This will give you an idea of what’s available and prices.

Since you mention a small switching layout, how about the modeling challenge of building your own track? If you are capable of tinkering with HOn3 locos and building some of the car kits, you can lay your own track without any problem. Proto87 Stores has just about any component you could want for handlaid track.
Commercially, Micro Engineering and Shinohara make HOn3 flex track. The ME is available in code 70, code 55, and code 40; I’ve not seen Shinohara in anything but code 70. Shinohara also makes dual guage flex track.
For turnouts, ME makes code 55 #6’s. Shinohara has an extensive line of HOn3 and dual guage turnouts in code 70. BK and Railway Engineering have semi-custom turnouts and turnout kits. Fastracks offers jigs and fixtures to easily assemble your own, but you need separate set for each size turnout.
Hope this helps

Well I just got bite on eBay.
The seller listed 20ea sections of N guage flex track.
I received the track and guess what? It is HOn3 guage.
If anyone would like to trade 15 ea. of 30" N guage flex track (new condition) for 20ea. 19 1/4" HOn3 track. Please contact me. This track appears to be in new conditions.
I dont know what code it is but the ties measure 3mm x 27mm. The height of the tie is 1mm or slightly more and the rail height is .0721", so I dont know if it is code 70 or 75.
