HO Operating switch stands: Details West or Central Valley?

Did a search but did not seem to come up with any reviews on the Central Valley Model Works switch stands, which seem nice and inexpensive. My turnouts are operated by either push-pull cables, or Tortoise motors; I would like the switch stand target to move appropriately. I’m wondering what the basic difference is between the two?

Thanks

John

I could not get the CV switch stand to good working. I’ve used Details West: Look here!

I have a couple from Caboose industries that work prety well. Cheap too.

I use Caboose Industries high level switch stands in my downtown passenger station complex.

They are operated manually by use of a small plastic throwbar. They are devilish to assemble and finicky to operate because of the smallness of the various moving parts.

I am contemplating going to Tomar Industries dwarf signals which can be powered by Tortoises. I already use this arrangement in my yards.

To my knowledge, neither Details West nor Central Valley makes a switch stand that can be powered by a Tortoise, but I may be wrong. I believe that both are manually operated.

Does anybody make an electronically operated switch stand?

Rich

My Decals West switch stands are operated by the throw bar. And the throw bar is operated by Tortoise or manually.

Thanks, Wolfgang. Details West it is, then!
