HO Rivarossi 4-6-2 Truck Spring Attachment Point Help

Could someone who has a complete HO Rivarossi 4-6-2 of the type in the picture below post a similar picture that shows how the front truck spring is attached to the chassis.

The spring hooks over the upturned ‘catch’ at the far left of the truck assembly, (just to the left of the bolt), but I am missing whatever it is that attaches it to the chassis, further to the left.

I have been told that the 2 pairs of holes take some ‘under chassis’ detail that is also missing.

To my guess, the holes are for brake gear and such.

As for the catch thing, I have no clue.
