Hi twhite! I was searching Youtube & found this, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vu9TmWBwVOY a video of a Akane brass Yellowstone with DCC & Sound!

Hey, thanks a bunch! That’s quite a hunk of loco there, running like a Swiss watch. Goes to show you, those old Akane babies can still cut it with the best of them with a little TLC. I also noticed as it went past that it’s still got the original Akane drive–they’re indestructable!

New Haven–

Actually, don’t tell anyone, but I just picked up my 3rd. Needs lots of work, but NOT on the mechanism or drive. Cosmetic damage, very repairable. Should have it up and running in about another week, joining her two sisters. Gee, just think, only 15 more to go, and I’ll have duplicated Baldwin’s total output of all 18 of these babies, LOL!
