I’m on the hunt for two HO scale Bachmann Spectrumm Heavey weight NYC passanger cars. The model numbers are 89102 and 89103 they are the bagage car and the sleeper for the line. If any one knows where I might find them or has them in good shape and is willing to part with them please let me know.
Don7, I think you have accessed the regular “Walthers” passenger cars which are probably more correct than the Bachmann cars as the Bachmann cars are pure “Pennsy” prototype, not NYC.
However the OP is looking for the Bachmann cars in NYC colors so you guys are on the same page, just different sides of it apparently.
To the OP I would take a look at the Walthers cars as they are probably “correct” for whever railroad they are offered in, or at least a lot closer than the Bachmann Spectrum cars are.
Remember, the Bachmann Spectrum cars are all a Pennsy prototype.
Sadly, there is no NYC Pullman car. C&O, B&O, GN, PRR, MoPac, UP, NC&Stl, New Haven even, but no NYC. They did get the combine, coaches, diner and Observation. there was never a Spectrum purely-Baggage car

(That searech was run using Discontinued Products, and the Discontined Producsts will pull up listings as far back as the Y2K Oscar/Piker release, so it’s pretty difinative)
Not all of the Spectrum sets got Pullmans though, for example the Daylight set. (Which is not entiurely protoypical, but SP heavyweights in Daylight show up in MofW, not crack passenger trains). Also, the C&O George Washington seems to hit the head pretty well in looks. Purely Pennsy or no.
