Thanks, it was quite a challenge. Needs a couple more parts that are on order.
Inquiring minds will want to know what the products are that were carried. I do not think Google will find them.
The nature of the products shipped?
Diacoustic infusoria = a lot of noise
Basic Balunium Ores = a lot of coal dust
Air-Float Abrasives = smoke and cinders
Frangible Ceramics = breakable pottery
Sand and Gravel = self explanatory
Being of Superior quality, obviously these were all shipped in crates
or barrels. Workers had to put cotton in their ears when opening a
barrel of Diacoustic Infusoria!!

Really neat, nice job! I mix early rolling stock into my 40s-50s era…I just like the way they look. More details, can’t figure out the 3rd pix. Looks like you used styrofoam for the body??? Jerry
Yeah, I just realized the third photo is hard to understand. Here is the parts layout.
The bolt and nut is for weight, comes with kit.
The outer walls and roof are thin wood. It was a fun project. Tongue in cheek for sure.
The kit is a repro of a scratch built boxcar from the 1955 issue of MR. Search Google for superior detritus. I will not post the URL.
Cheers
Rich
