The National Steel Car version of this car has been used in the US salt industry under the GIWX and other markings. I had left a comment on the NARC web site about another possible paint scheme. I received a call from Dan Huberman who explained the subtle differences between the National Steel Car version and the Hawker-Siddeley version of the car. NARC’s attention to minute detail is impressive.

I have had several versions of these railcars for several months and they are the best of my fleet. It is a pleasure watching them glide by. If only there were more like them.
