According to that link, the MP15 is no longer made, but should be available again late in 2006. I don’t know much about Con-cor, other than their stuff doesn’t seem to be very common. My local hobby shop doesn’t stock very many of their items. I didn’t see a parts diagram, but you might want to contact them directly.

Between the rear truck and fuel tank are locating pins similar to B.B. Athearn. The shell slips off once they are free.

Adding a DCC decoder to one of these locomotives is practically impossible. I made the mistake of purchasing two of these engines because they were available in Missouri Pacific. Really horrible mechanisms in them with a motor so small it seems to be more for a slot car than for a train. I did manage to get DCC decoders into them, but they just sit on a shelf instead of being used.

Mine are marked “Assembled in Mexico” on the bottom, so if your’s are the same, they are not up to today’s standards at all.

Mine says make in China on the bottom of the tank. Nice sized can motor, 2 flywheels. Runs real nice. It is from the last HO run Con-Cor has done. If you got this version you should be happy.
