Where can I find HO locomotive replacement number boards and marker light gaskets?

Are you looking for the number board part itself or wanting to number or renumber them?

Shell Scale decals http://www.shellscale.com/numberboard%20page.htm Offers decals for specific model and number desired. This is especially great for lighted number boards. To just number and not really worry about the lighted version, you just paint the background color and painstakingly place those small numbers. I have attempted to use the Microscale version of the translucent white character on the black background. This was quite the chore in seaming those secquential numbers and trying to avoid the light leakage.

The gaskets can be done with a steady hand and a Sharpie. This works for window gaskets as well.

Any suggestions on how to do white numbers on black boards with lighting?

Use overhead film and an inkjet printer. I use excel and reverse the print so the black is the background and the numbers are clear. Then you can back light them.
