I aplogize in advance for asking a question I’m sure has been asked before, but I’m looking for 3 to 5 barn roundhouse kits. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
There are a lot of good ones out there. I used the Walthers 3 stall kit and was very pleased with the precision of the parts and of course the final look.

The corner stone 3 stall one? With the steamers out front. I have that one too, although the task of getting it to look like the cover will be a task. Barndad, go with that roundhouse, its a really nice one.

For good plastic relatively easy to build kits, I’d recommend either the Walther’s or the Heljain, the result is pretty similar–a nicely detailed brick roundhouse from the golden age of steam. I’ve got a 6-stall Heljain (two 3-stall kits) that I saved from my former layout and will go onto my new one, when I get the space problem solved.

Dem ther Walters ones even have add-on stalls for
Take a look at http://www.internettrains.com
If you want a branchline 6 stall - try the Alpine three stall with a three stall add-on
dont forget the Atlas three stall.
We have votes for Altas Cornerstone seried 3-Stall roundhouse, Branchline, Walthers, and the Hejan.
I would hazard a guess that every responder has had success with their eventual choices. So, go thou and do likewise. [:D]
P.S.-I built the Cornerstone 3-Staller.
Anything from the above list will look fine as long as you put the effort into it.
Thanks for all the great input! It’s much appreciated!!
barndad,
American Model Builders makes a nice wooden one but it’s more expensive than the Cornerstone roundhose by Walthers. Here’s their link: http://www.laserkit.com/laserkit.htm
AMB also make some very nice depots and structures. I have their Interlocking tower, Dill’s Market. and Boxcar depot and am very pleased with the detailing and quailty of their kits.

Faller does a really nice one, I believe that Walthers may even carry it as they carry a lot of european models.
