Hello everyone, thanks for having such a great website. I am rebuilding my trian layout after a long inactive period, and I need some help. First, please tell me where I can buy the traction rubber bands for my Ho scale diesel locomotive. Second, why does my train make roungh noises at times along with jerky motions, then runs quietly and smoothly. Third, is there an inexpensive, effective brass track cleaning solution you can buy at a retail outlet, Wallmart…etc. Forth, can anyone share with me thier home made scenery tips, example: To make Pine trees use, artifical Christmas tree limbs , cut 3 inches in lenght, trim to a cone shape, glue on flour for a snow effect, also spray paint table salt light gray for train track gravel. the jerky motion could be bad track.if its been out of action for awhile it could be dirty and need cleaning.as for your hobby supplies go to your local hobby retailer or you can go to walthers.com also.
