Hi everyone, im curious if anyone has a favorite type of telegraph pole they use for their layout.
ive been drawn to rix poles, because they look just like the real thing! all I need now is the green crossarms, does anyone know if they still make them.

I did a tutorial on building telephone poles that you might find of interest.

Rix does still make the telephone pole kits. They are $5 per kit and you get (10) 30’ poles and (5) 40’ poles, plus crossarms. The Rix poles will hold up to five cross arms each, with 10 insulators on each crossarm. You can choose how many crossarms you want to add to each pole, as well as how long you want each arm. I snip mine off with an X-acto chisel blade.

I like the Life Like poles there really good around suburban areas. Also get some black thread and just glue it to the poles.
