Try www.customtraxx.com for overhead wire as well as other traction needs. George absolutely knows his stuff!

Years ago I decided to purchase Phos-bronze wire for my PRR catenary. Any local wire supply house will sell you the wire at a relatively low price and in a life time supply. I dealt with Chicago Steel and Wire and for $20.00 got about 6000’ ! $20.00 was their minimum order and I had to pay cash but that was ok with me. Twenty years later I have sold enough to get my $20.00 back and still have about 4000’ of the stuff. It is in a coil about 1’ in diameter and about 3" thick.
