They don’t have trains on their web site. If your going for the coupon, they just automatically take the 50% off at the register.I’ve never had to show a coupon.

My wife and I are heading up to Pensacola Florida in a couple of weeks. After being in the Florida Keys for a year with no HS we are going to hit everyone in Pcola. There is a Hobby Lobby in Pensacola so my question is what sort of MRR stuff do they have? Would it be worth visiting?

Terry, the Hobby Lobby trains dept, when it exists is primarily made up of Model Power and LifeLike trains sets in HO and N and a few bits of Atlas sectional track. They often have a moderate supply of Woodland Scenics turfs, figures and rock molds plus some other scenery supplies. Of course they have lots of art supplies and other materials not strictly for MRR that can be applied to the hobby. I would not go out of my way to go to one, but worth a visit if you are in the area for something else.

Scuba- If your coming up US 19 stop in Tampa. There’s suppost to be a couple of good train shops around there. I hear of a good one in Spring Hill too.

Isn’t there also a good (and BIG!) train store in Ocala - somewhere near Silver Springs?

They have lots and lots of things in the store that can be used as alternatives to Woodland Scenics products, and cost about 1/4 as much. You just have to have some time to browse, and use your imagination. They are headquartered here in Oklahoma, and they have quite a warehouse. Too bad they don’t have much in the way of real MRR, just LL and MP.

Well that sound like it might be worth checking out anyway. I have one day alone while the wife meets with her girl friends. So I will probably check out HL.

Tom - Funny you should mention Ocala. They seem to have more HS than any other town in FL except for Miami. We have a transfer in for three places this fall and thats one of them.

Loathar - I don’t think we will get anywhere near Tampa but if we do…
