I am in Syracuse for a couple of days - What are the good Hobby Shops in the area?

I would recommend Central Hobby Supply.Its only a couple of miles away.

Just follow Thompson Rd and turn right on James St.Go about 1/2 mile and Walter Dr. is on the right.I cant really think of any other hobby shops that are close[sigh]

If you have some extra time to burn you can railfan the area.Finger lakes RR(Solvay),Suzy-Q(Armory Sqaure),CSX,to name a few.The Dewitt(East Syracuse) yards are right around the corner.
