Holy cow-They are coming out of the woodwork

At work I put up 3 engines, 15 Atlas Reefers, a cabooses, a hopper, and a pulp wood car.

The train fans are all crawling out of the woodwork. So far ~15 people have stopped by my booth and talked trains and modeling. Two confessed that model rail roading was a favorite from their childhood. And I caught someone playing with the train when I wasn’t around. (The caboose was derailed when I came back…pftttt amateurs!) [:D]

During lunch I’ve been assembling a branchline reefer and people take enough interest to watch and talk for a little while. But then again they might be hanging around to smell the CA glue fumes. [:D]

Turns out it doesn’t take a lot to generate a lot of interest.

You’re right, Don. It never ceases to amaze me how eyes light up when I mention my trains.

I was amazed when I brought my photo album to school the other day to scan in some pictures (I didn’t have a scanner then) and a couple people were actually interested!
