The comment about good ventilation is one that some may skip over. I have done a lot of hot wire work and used to have headaches afterwards. I learned later that at least some types of foams put off small amounts of cyanide gas in the “smoke”. The newer foams may not, but still it isn’t good to breath anything that comes off of a Chemical based material. Still, with care this is a great way to cut foam products, and my favorite. It is far less messy and can be done with great results.
