What could be done for a series for a show that “could be” called “Extreme Toy Trains”? Maybe visit Elliots basement layout, Lionels factory, MTHs factory, world record attempts for the longest toy train? What else?
The show sounds nice but I am to the point in my life that I avoid anything “extreme” ( or worse X treme).
Same goes for exclamation points. I just don’t trust 'em, particularly when they run in gangs.

Having DA CHIEF, MCing and starting every episode eating a big bowl o GRITS, then ending each episode with BUCKEYE using his snow blower to shower those GRITS away.

I have a vision of a modern-day Gomez Addams blowing things up [;)]
Sounds like fun to me. [Buckeye’s snow blower will stall out]
Elliot’s basement is probably like it was a couple of years ago. Last time I talked to him, he was not “messing” with trains. Need to call the “bugger”.
LOL… no I am not sending my trains through flaming hoops and over a ramp to jump a plywood canyon. Its bad enough when there is a short and your heart jumps when a sound unit of your JLC steam locomotives does not work anymore…hitting the reset switch and praying everything is ok is the longest 3 seconds you will ever know…
There used to be a short 1/2 hour show with two separate reviews of somebody’s incredible home layout, mostly all Classic Toy Trains… what happened to this show? Old age has set in and I cannot remember the name of the series…
Drag racing the trains was about as extreme as this boy got as a kid. My RI 2031s could beat the snot out of my buddy’s SF 2343s, so there was some solace in the lack of pulling power.

How about a string of 20 dump cars being loaded with snow pulled by 3 SD40-2s that go around and dump the snow onto the balcony of the apt below where your neighbor cranks up his stereo at 6am.

There is a 1/2 hour show on RFD-TV on Thursdays at 4.00 PM like the one you are talking about called I Love Toy Trains. No not the kids shows. The only problem is cattle ouctions sometimes replaces it. No cattle auction tomorrow, so check it out and let me know what you think.

Ah, Patrick is back.
Are you folks thinking of “Tracks Ahead”? It wasn’t just layouts and toy trains though.
TM productions had a video magazine for about 12 issues, but it was longer that 1/2 hour and had about 4 layouts.
Nice to see you back Patrick.

That’s the one! Quite a good show except for the OH NO clip of something not working… kind of annoying, but I saw a couple episodes at 4:00 a.m when I was up giving the little one a bottle. Anyone know if this series is available to buy? Also tracks ahead was on however it seemed to be more of live trains and fans filming real trains in the modern days… I only saw part of one episode though…
Trains and Locomotives is my favorite, on every Saturday morning 9:00 to 10:00. Live trains of the old days, great video clips if you need modeling ideas as well.
