Time for some narrow minded fun. I had a great time at the Wheaton, IL show Sunday, having scorred several items for my layout. The biggest find, and the most important is the Westside Models brass C-16, road number #268, pro painted into the striking Bumblebee paint scheme she wore for the 1949 Chicago Rail Fair, and continued to wear till the end of operations on the D&RGW Gunnison branch. This was what I have been hunting for since getting back into HOn3. I love the looks of this engine and C-16’s in general. I also picked up a PSC brass long caboose that was painted but not decaled and 2 railline car kits, one built with Grandt Line trucks and an unbuilt box car. He had much more, but the two brass items killed the train budget for the month to say the least. I do plan to replace the old open frame motor with a can motor from Locodoc, along with a decoder. I had to wire a DC throttle back into my little layout to run her for now. Enjoy the pics. Mike
