how accurate is bachmann ATSF 44ton?

I have a bachmann 44 ton engine in ATSF scheme. I’ve been trying to search a bit more in to the history of these engine and how they were used by Santa fe but i’ve come up a bit short. For one thing , i havent been able to find a single picture of engine #468 and because of a certain illeteracy when it comes to detailling engine, i dont know how accurate the switcher is to the actual santa fe model it’s suppose to represent. I know of 3 44tonner have been preserved but the pictures ive seen dont match the color scheme of #468. Can anyone help me find more info or and “how-to” to make the engine more accurate. Not looking to build a contest winner just want a bit more accuracy and try my hand at a more prototypically correct model

on a related note, does anyone know if ATSF ever bough 70 tonner as well? from what i have gathered they didnt but maybe someone out there can help out… Did LAJ (los angeles junction) used those?

Here’s a link to the Pacific Locomotive Association site: http://www.ncry.org/roster/d_462/atsf462.shtml

The #462 is painted in its as delivered paint scheme rather than the later “zebra stripe”. It is currently operable.
