How cool is this.....

I’m currently sitting on a train travelling South at over 100MPH.
The train is fitted with the latest wi-fi technology and it’s cost me 10 quid (that would be about 15 bucks) (it would be free if I was in first class) to connect to the internet for 3 hours. Pity it’s only a 2 hour journey.
Apparantly it works by satellite, so I don’t know what’ll happen if we go into a tunnel.
The connection is a bit slow though, a bit like dial-up, and it can be a bit hard to type at times, what with the motion of the train and all.

Does anybody know anywhere else in the world where trains are wi-fi enabled?

Its too bad nobody replied, but it does intrest me. Anybody?

lol, gold digger [;)]

I thought Amtrak had a train that had interenet connection once, it was in an old Trains magazine.

I do believe the Acela and Metroliner trains are wi-fi, but dont quote me on that.
