How did you find out about this forum? I messing around in computer class loooking for a real picture of the S-2 turbine, I found one for the 1st time and it happened to be on this forum. After a little reading I knew I had to join. [:)]
Through Classic Toy Trains magazine.
Same for me, through the magazine!
Thats probably gonna be the most common way, I wasnt subscribed at the time. XD I over looked that small factor [:-^]
Googled ‘toy trains’, and ended up at trains.com.

I was in the same situation as many I have read…I had old Lionel trains lying around, wanted to get started in the hobby again, and had a lot of questions.

Through CTT magazine. However, I found a 1:43 car forum (another big interest for me) doing a Google search for a model car manufacturer. Joe
Did a search for “Repair Old Lionel Trains” and it brought me to the web site. Did a little searching and found answers to questions I had yet to think to ask yet.

Through the CTT magazine, got a free copy from a hobby shop in northwest Miami, read the mag and subscribed to it. A couple years later I went to their website and joined the forum.
