How did you find out?

How did you find out about this forum? I messing around in computer class loooking for a real picture of the S-2 turbine, I found one for the 1st time and it happened to be on this forum. After a little reading I knew I had to join. [:)]

Through Classic Toy Trains magazine.

Same for me, through the magazine!

Thats probably gonna be the most common way, I wasnt subscribed at the time. XD I over looked that small factor [:-^]

Googled ‘toy trains’, and ended up at trains.com.

Edit:

I was in the same situation as many I have read…I had old Lionel trains lying around, wanted to get started in the hobby again, and had a lot of questions.

An extremely fortunate accident. When I moved from HO to O, I used the internet to “bone-up” on my new adventure and just came upon the site. Really glad I did!

Through CTT magazine. However, I found a 1:43 car forum (another big interest for me) doing a Google search for a model car manufacturer. Joe

Did a search for “Repair Old Lionel Trains” and it brought me to the web site. Did a little searching and found answers to questions I had yet to think to ask yet.

Dennis

Through the CTT magazine, got a free copy from a hobby shop in northwest Miami, read the mag and subscribed to it. A couple years later I went to their website and joined the forum.
