Hi everyone:
How do I access the older issues of MR in the digital archives? I’m trying to bring up March 2016. I can only get Zinio to show three issues.
Thanks
Dave

If your a subscriber to the digital archives, at the very top of the page, click on “All-Time Digital Archives” Right next to where you see the staff members picture.
Mike
Hi Mike:
I have done that several times but all I’m getting is the offer to sign up, which I have already done. I have spent more than 30 minutes trying to get access but its not happening. I’m going to call Kalmbach to see if they can help. I seem to recall others having this problem in the past but I couldn’t find the thread.
Thanks for your help.
Dave
EDIT:
I just succeeded in getting into the archives using the Microsoft Edge browser. Apparently Chrome doesn’t support the archives.
Good to hear. I use Fire Fox, with no problems. Well, I’ll take part of that back [(-D], but each time FF updates, it gets better. There was a time I could not use the “quote” feature, but all seems to be good for now.
Mike.
Odd, I am looking at (randomly selected) March 2002 in Chrome.
For tablets, there is an MR Archive app that can access all the issues. There’s another MR app that apparantly doesn’t even know you are a subscriber - it notifies me when a new issue is available then provides me with an option to buy it. The Archive app always shows the latest issue at the top once it is available. And my Zino still doesn’t show March, which I already read last weekend when it popped up in the MR Archive app!

Randy:
I’m just using my PC so I shouldn’t need any special apps to view the archives. I tried turning off Ad Block but it didn’t make any difference on Chrome.
I have March 2017 on the Zinio page on Chrome but only two other issues which are Oct. and Nov. 2016.
Stupid computer!
Dave
Dave, for whatever crazy comuter reason, I have found that sometimes I have to sign out, and sign back in to reactivate access to the archives.
It happens randomly with no explaination…I use Chrome…
Sheldon
Hi Sheldon:
I’ll give that a try.
Thanks
Dave
EDIT:
I logged out and back in again and waddayaknow! It worked!!!
Thanks again Sheldon!
A lot of people disable cookies on their browser by default, out of privacy concerns. However, cookies are how our website tracks who you are and your login info. So sometimes the site forgets who you are or that you have an account with us, because the cookie on your computer is what tells our system about that. That’s why logging out and in again works – you’re restoring your info with the system. So if you make sure to enable cookies, at least on our site, you’ll have less problem with site access. (I won’t say “no problem” because I’m not a computer expert and don’t really know how these things work. I gave up on computer science after 2-1/2 years of studying it in college. I failed two courses and decided right then I’d rather write for a living. [;)])
Thanks Steven.

Most browsers have a setting to specifically allow cookies from sites you set while blocking them from all others. I allow cookies for this site so I don’t have to constantly log in. And I know what messages I’ve read and which are new. Unlike say my bank site, there’s little to no personal information here and my credit card isn’t saved so what’s the worse someone could do, hack in and post as me? Anyone who is a long time online forum user would catch on to that pretty quick.

I understabd what Steven is saying, the interesting thing is my browser stays loged in to the main site in general, but will not let me into the archive until I log out and log back in.
Sheldon
I have my PCs set up to accept cookies and to delete them automatically when closing Fire Fox.
