I got my Paasche H airbru***oday and wonder, how do I clean it? I have not used it yet, just want to learn before I begin. I can’t find any good info in the small manual how to take it apart.
Just run some of the paint solvent through it when your done.(water based for water based, paint thinner for oil based) I also use a small pin and pipe cleaners to clean the tip and cap if they get bad. DO NOT let paint sit or dry in it for any period of time.
It should have come with a small allen wrench, use this to remove the color tip. The allen screw is at the bottom of the round thing near the front. Unscrew the pointed end and remove the two parts, and clean them with a cotton swab or pipe cleaner. Make sure there isn’t any paint residue left inside at all.
This is the simplest type of airbrush and should be all that hard to clean. Do it after each and every painting session.

For water based paints, I keep a plastic sandwich container with filled water nearby. That way if I get called away, all I have to do is disassmble it quick and toss the parts in to soak. I even throw the siphon cap in.
Thanks guys, that was good answers. I have one more question that maybe seems like a stupid one ![]()
How do I attach the cup under the airbrush? Seems to me that it will come loose pretty easy?
It’s a friction fit, just push it in.

Thanks Bob, appreciated.
