O.K. my name is Robert
I started in g about 2yrs ago an Im still starting . Im looking for peple in and arond martinsvill.viringina that have garden rails ,that might have some porters & ideals we can share? im going to start landscaping in fall ,I run a bachmann 4-6-0 tweeked a little & a kitbashed or carbasher railbus ,afew freaght & 2 passengers.
Rob, I myself have no one I hobby with other than the wonderful members of this fourum who I concider my club. You could place a personal so to speak at local hobby stores on their board if they have one. I’m not sure where Henry Virginia is but there are two clubs in Virginia- Big Lick BTO’s in Troutsville Virginia and TIDEWATER BTO’s in Virginia Beach, I’m assuming BTO’s stands for Big train operators. My Guess is to not exclude indoor modelers in large scale.

I have started laying my 15" gauge track using code 125 rail on redwood ties. This track is located on our outdoor “G” scale layout and will be more like moving scenery than a operating railway. It will be battery powered with an on-off switch and run along a “main line” of about twenty feet with a reversing loop at each end.
How long this small hand laid track will hold up in Minnesota is an open question but that is ONE of the reasons I have decided to built it in the first place.

However when i oved up here to queensland i tried to join the local model rail club and found that i could not stomach them for the following reasons.
