How do I fix my Atlas trainmaster Gold jerky running?

Hello modelrailroaders.
My best “runner” have been “sick”.
I goes like a old Athern RDC with the rubberband drive. Speeds goes up and down like pumping. Both in slow and fast. It have been more and more and now it`s all the time in both direction.

I have a try with:

  • reset the electronics several time.
  • clean the wheels. (Light and sound is perfect on.)
  • oil it in where I can.
    Nothing helps.

Can it be a motor problem?
